Did You Notice…

…the brand spanking new widgets that I’ve added to my blog?  Specifically, the shiny new button that links to my WWF-Canada CN Tower Climb sponsor website.  And not to be overshadowed, did you also notice the shiny new button that I’ve added that will link to Dr. Beth’s Longest Hockey Game for Cystic Fibrosis Canada sponsor website?

You should click them and do that sponsoring thing.  Why?  Well, both are for great causes.  I mean, who doesn’t want to help out the environment and all those baby animals?  Additionally, who doesn’t want to help out those people suffering from Cystic Fibrosis?  No one doesn’t, that’s who.  Not convinced that this is the thing to do?  Consider this; showing support is what awesome people do.  Every penny helps.  Whatever you can offer is much appreciated.  And if you don’t have any change to spare, words of encouragement are equally appreciated.  So go to our sponsorship websites and do what you can.  In return, I promise you a big hug the next time I see you. Okay, you’ll probably get a hug regardless, what with my love of all things hug related, but that is neither here nor there.

Why else might you want to sponsor us?  Science has shown that sponsoring us leads to longer lives, improved happiness, an added bounce to your step, and a reduction in gastrointestinal distress.  Further, sponsoring us will reduce your risk of heart attack, lung cancer, hypertension, spontaneous combustion, and cooties.  Finally, sponsoring us has been linked to the reversal of male pattern baldness, weight loss, muscle development, and a 10-fold increase in your coolness factor1.

So the questions really isn’t so much why would you sponsor us, but why wouldn’t you?

1 Note: Science hasn’t shown any of these things. However, I’m sure it could if it wanted to. Of course, Science has been too busy sponsoring us, so it will have to get back to you :)
