For those following the epic adventure that has been Dr. Dan and Dr. Beth (of Not To Be Trusted With Knives) publishing at Dissertation Haiku, I have just received word that her well crafted dissertation haiku has been published for all the world to enjoy. Another shining example of how the peer-review system works. You can find it here.
And to nerd this up a little more, here’s a haiku about prime numbers from xkcd.com.

That is all.
Damn, why didn’t we think to end our haiku with “Q.E.D. Bitches!”? Really, all haiku should end that way.
Also, since Dr. Dan won’t say it himself, I would like to point out that Dr. Dan wrote my haiku for me. Because I suck at haikuing.
Ya, big fail on our part. “Q.E.D. Bitches” should have been obvious, especially given our idea for a shirt with a similar phrasing. Oh well, we can’t be the most brilliant all the time. Just most of the time 🙂
I wouldn’t say you suck at haiku’ing. I think you might just have a delayed haiku response. Plus, the haiku was not created independently, as you had to inspire me with your thesis abstract. Does this make our second publication together? Clearly we need more, because our publications are epic.
Dan and Beth are Nerds.
Rick is Full of Awesomeness.
Q.E.D., Bitches!
Well played sir. Well played indeed.
