Item 165 on my Not-So-Bucket-List list is to watch 150 of the top 250 movies listed on the Internet Movie Database (IMDB). This page is devoted to tracking this particular Not-So-Bucket-List list item.
Now, for those unaware, the IMDB list is constantly being updated based on user votes. This is more evident as you go down the list. For example, as of July 3, 2011, X Men: First Class has been listed. While I enjoyed the movie and thought it surpassed the abomination that was X Men III, I don’t quite think it qualifies to be on the top 250 list.
Regardless of this, I’ve decided to take a snapshot of the list as it is today, and use that snapshot as the list that I’m going to tackle. And for your reading pleasure, I may, from time to time, offer reviews or recommendations on various flicks I’ve seen.
To date, I’ve managed to watch 109 of the movies listed here. Only 41 more to go.
